About the Role
COPA Resourcing Group are recruiting an experienced 360 Rotating Telehandler Operator for a long-term pylon check erect project across two sites in Scotland. This is a great opportunity for a competent, safety-conscious operator looking for stable, well-paid work on a major energy infrastructure project.
With a minimum 16-month contract, consistent hours Monday to Thursday, and overtime available, this role offers the long-term security and steady income that experienced plant operators are looking for.

- 📍 Locations: Tranent, East Lothian & Rosyth, Fife
- 📅 Contract Length: 16 months minimum
- ⏰ Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 07:15 – 17:15
- ⚡ Overtime: Available as required
- 💷 Pay: £23.00 per hour CIS
What You'll Be Doing
- Operating a 360 rotating telescopic handler safely on a busy energy infrastructure site
- Moving, positioning, and placing materials and structural components as directed
- Carrying out daily pre-operational checks and maintaining equipment logs
- Working closely with the banksman, lifting team, and wider gang
- Following all site safety rules, LOLER and PUWER regulations, and risk assessments
- Reporting any defects or safety concerns to the site supervisor immediately
What You'll Need
To be considered for this role you must hold the following:
- ✅ Valid RTITB Certificate for Rough Terrain Telescopic Handler (360 Slew)
- ✅ CSCS Card
- ✅ Proven experience operating a 360 telehandler on construction or energy infrastructure sites
- ✅ Good working knowledge of LOLER and PUWER regulations
- ✅ Full UK driving licence — preferred
- ✅ Slinger Banksman ticket — desirable but not essential
- ✅ Full commitment to a long-term 16-month contract
- ✅ Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
