About the Role
COPA Resourcing Group are recruiting experienced Steel Erectors for a long-term pylon check erect project across two sites in Scotland. This is a fantastic opportunity for committed operatives looking for stable, well-paid work on a significant energy infrastructure project.
With a minimum 16-month contract, consistent hours, and overtime available, this role offers the kind of long-term security that's hard to find in the industry.
Project Details
- Locations: Tranent, East Lothian & Rosyth, Fife
- Contract Length: 16 months minimum
- Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 07:15 – 17:15
- Overtime: Available as required
- Pay: £25.00 per hour CIS
What You'll Be Doing
- Erecting structural steelwork in line with engineer's drawings and specifications
- Working as part of an established steel erection gang on a pylon project
- Connecting, bolting, and positioning steel sections at height
- Slinging loads and working alongside crane operators
- Following all site safety rules, risk assessments, and method statements
What You'll Need
To be considered for this role you must hold the following:
- Valid CSCS Card (Blue or Gold — Steel Erector)
- Proven experience in structural steel erection
- Ability to work at height confidently and safely in all weather conditions
- Slinger Banksman ticket — desirable but not essential
- Full commitment to a long-term 16-month contract
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
