COPA Resourcing is on the lookout for a motivated individual to join a fantastic team in a dynamic transport office located in Livingston.
We are seeking someone with prior experience in a transport office and a solid understanding of Drivers Hours, Tachograph, and Working Time Directive (WTD) legislation. In this role, you will be regularly communicating with Transport Planners, Drivers, and Clients/Customers, so strong customer service skills are key. It's also important to be able to adhere to company policies and procedures and address any non-compliance.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Handling communications effectively through email, phone, and internal messaging systems.
* Reporting and escalating transport issues, providing estimated arrival times, highlighting potential delays, and communicating any re-planning needs to transport planners.
* Creating, resourcing, and managing job builds within the TMS system.
* Ensuring the accuracy and clarity of proof of delivery documents.
* Conducting driver briefings and de-briefings.
* Addressing any concerns regarding driver punctuality, system usage, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will possess:

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* The ability to perform effectively under pressure.
* The capacity to work independently.
* A full UK driving license.
